The ESOL Department helps provide both Migrant and International Students with the English language skills and qualifications required to achieve in the New Zealand education system. We provide small and friendly classes to ensure that all students have every opportunity to have their individual learning needs met. Up to 12 hours tuition in ESOL is available every week.

The course and classes offered depends on the numbers and needs of the students that year.  ESOL courses and classes are redesigned each year to best meet the needs of the current students. Students can choose to concentrate on improving their skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening for NCEA credits or for external English Language Exams or both.
